I've been a writer all my life, whether it be for my profession or just for pleasure.  I've also written poetry and been a humorist (just ask my wife).

    When I retired in January 2024, I decided to pursue my passion in writing with a bit more vigor.  I've joined writing groups and set a more definite schedule in which to write.  I'm learning the proper road to publication and the many stops along the way - illustrator, editor, agent, publisher, etc.

    Besides writing my passion lies in assisting neglected or forgotten dogs and cats as they prepare for and await their forever homes.  I volunteer with a few animal rescue groups, and take great pleasure in seeing a pet that at one time had no real hope go on to live their best life.

     I am very lucky to be going through life's journey with my best friend and wife, Tara.  We enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, and anything else in the great outdoors together.
